This knowledge has been passed down to us over centuries by the sages and rishis of India . Different times of the day are classified as Sattvik , Rajasik and Tamasik . Sattva – Transactive Rajas – Active Tamas – Inactive The time between 4am to 6am in a day is classified as Sattvik time also known as Brahma Muhurta.This is the best time to brood , contemplate and reflect. Sattva is the state of mind in equanimity, serenity, when a person remains poised , mature , contemplative and objective, detached from worldly involvement and excitement.
