Diwali 2012

The festival of lights gets celebrated all over the country . It represents the victory of good over evil and the entire country looks outstanding , bedecked with colourful lights , sparkle of colours and sweetmeats being exchanged all over . Music programmes , sound and light shows , exchange of pleasantries accompany the celebrations. This year it was a 2 day holiday and what better it could be than dining out , decking the house with crackers , visiting a close doctor friend of mine who had a plethora of beautiful dolphin rockets with a dozen at a time flying off with bombs to display . Other than wining and dining with a whole lot of outside friends from my current network , Diwali also provided an opportunity to connect with friends and contacts across the globe , as a lot of curiosity was expressed after I sent in some friendship messages to some of my offshore friends , especially those on the linkedin contact .
