Communication involves five steps : -Hearing  -Remembering  -Understanding  -Evaluating  -Responding * You interrupt and do not allow the person to communicate freely . You are busy with your own thoughts  *You do not listen to what the other person is saying . Your mind is floating around with other thoughts , mostly out of context .  *Your lack the ability to think through hard and ask the right questions. Asking good questions clarifies your mind and forces you to think hard .  *Letting your emotions take control of you . Your reaction takes control of you and not your thought .  *You are arrogant . You fail to admit you are wrong and take corrective action.
