Breakfast

It is always nice to kickoff the day with a tasty breakfast .

There is always a rider though that with age you need to cutoff the cals .

I love a khichdi made out of the dalia , a typically Indian dish made out of broken wheat . You can be creative in your choice of spices and the assortment of vegetables .

Eggs are nice to taste and there is no substitute with a well made masala omlette made out of cheese in it too .

Breads have a high carb content but an occasional hard toast garnished with butter or hard cheese can be meaty and tasty. Add on a couple of pieces of sausage and enjoy .

I love days when I can also have corn flakes with milk to sign off my breakfast .

This morning it was multiple chapattis fried with ghee and with a light potato-peas preparation .

I always spice up my life with Mother's Pickle as an accompaniment
