22nd april

It was nice to start the Vedanta group of our batch . Also spoke to the construction person in bangalore to set up our farm. Got a neat thought to the kind of profile we are looking for to help commodities blend. Started solving HC Verma problems which was great fun. The clouds have started gathering and the heat wave is wearing off. This was a dry summer in April much akin to Northern India. Learnt from my friend that taking a bath in hot water especially if the humidity is low keeps you cool during the daytime. At night I observed the RH going above 50% and it was necessary to switch on the AC. My sister returned from Darjeeling and had a fantastic experience on the Vande Bharat with 360 deg rotating seats and good food and charging facility. Spoke of the AC atmosphere in Darjeeling and the rustling of leaves . Excellent breakfast at Summit Swiss and late evening lunch at Glenarys. Brought some excellent coconut biscuits from Glenarys. My kid went to the station to receive them t escape from studies as I continue to play with HC Varma.

7th-9th april

Highlight was a last minute ride into Puri through the garib rath express. Had an interesting copassenger who had survived a major herat attack and his two sons. One was a writer while the other was doing MA History in Netaji Open University. We were carrying sandwiches from Scoop and chicken rolls too which was in excess. The garib rath had 9 slots in each section which was a bit stretch but amazing. Allowed people to travel. Shalimar wasnt a bad station if you were aware of the access. My father had a decent walk though we had to cross platforms in the last minute. In Puri station it was a long walk for my father until we caught an auto ,strange that there was a surfeit of autos but rarely enough drivers.

23rd april

It was the Holy Akshay Tritiya day with excellent weather. I cracked the physics solution , read about Connaught Place . Good lunch of a variety of items , good reading of swami gokulananda . After a nap headed to city centre and picked up gold coins from tanishq. Also some nice clothing from ONLY for my child. We then drove to Ramkrishna to pick up books and stationery . Then after visting a couple of temples and picking up fruits , went to Out & Beyond and had lasgane , peri peri fries and chicken cutlets with a variety. Fortunately had Pulsatilla and crashed off . Again some reading and physics at bedtime.

24th april

Woke up early as the folks left for school .Copied motion problems. Nice half an hour walk on my driveway. Read and shared excerpts from Mental Tension to our Vedanta Group. Nice breakfast and started work. Dealt with Bhaskar and long discussions on travel. Router came but could not be installed. Will need renovation. Enjoying my journal. Nice planned day today. My father is out swimming with my nephew and niece and enjoying club life. Rained today and the afternoon was beautiful.
